The maximum available charge, expressed in ampere‐hours, that can be used from a cell or battery under a specific set of operating conditions including discharge rate, temperature, initial state of charge, age, and cut‐off voltage. This is different to battery capacity which is the maximum charge a battery can be charged to and then deliver.
