Cell Barrier

by Solus Energy

The cell barrier is a very thin interface between the n-type and p-type layers in a solar cell that inhibiting the movement of electrons from one layer to another causing higher energy electrons to move in one direction. This electron movement creates a current and voltage across the cell which when connected to an electrical circuit enables the resulting energy to be used.
